  1. Unfortunately, my gut feeling says one reason enrollment is down is because of our parish leadership. not sure how to fix it until that is resolved. so sad. we love ASA!

  2. The parish leadership is fully committed to the full support of ASA. The best way to support ASA is to enroll your children or grandchildren and to encourage neighbors and fellow parishioners to enroll their children.

  3. It is difficult to urge parishioners to send their kids to ASA when our pastoral administrator does not enroll his own children.

  4. We would like to enroll our children but cannot afford it...now what?

  5. I don't doubt parish leadership supports ASA. But I don't think parishioners believe in the leadership and its intentions. So therefore the school associated with the parish suffers.

  6. Unfortunately, the struggles at ASA are but one indication that people have lost confidence in the parish leadership. At what point do we declare that the current philosophies are not working? Sometimes the fit isn't right- even with the best of intentions. In the business world, these things happen all the time, why does the church struggle with making adjustments when they clearly need to be made?

  7. You say that the stuggles at ASA are an indication that people have lost confidence in the parish leadership, what are you basing that comment on? Have you interviewed the people that have left the school to gain that information.

  8. ASA is associated with All Saints parish. If people are leaving All Saints parish because they have lost confidence in leadership then wouldn't it be a logical connection that ASA would struggle as well? If parish enrollment is on the downward trend, then we don't have the base to pull from to fill the school. We can't get new students to join ASA, it's not just current students leaving.

  9. Or could it be the poor economy?

  10. We once had our children enrolled in ASA but pulled them out due to Deacon Dean's lack of real care for the school. He should enroll his kids in ASA to show the parish community that he fully supports it. I think he wants to build a high-level parking lot in it's place after it closes next year.
